You know that feeling...
The first pumpkin candle of the season.
The first cool morning that isn't actually cool, but you pretend it is anyway.
The first vintage quilt pulled out of the closet.
The first thought that maybe... just maybe... it's time to decorate.
That's August Granny Camp.
A little early fall.
A little vintage Halloween.
A little cozy magic sprinkled into the hottest part of the Texas summer.
Three days of crafting, collecting, creating, and pretending autumn has officially arrived.
And honestly...
We're not here to argue with the calendar.
Hosted in Historic Downtown Huntsville, Texas
1219 Sam Houston Avenue
Huntsville, Texas
Friday — 3:30 PM
Saturday — 10:00 AM
Sunday — 10:00 AM
The air conditioner is working overtime.
The sangria is cold.
The pumpkins are out.
And for one evening, we're all going to collectively decide that fall has arrived.
Friday is our cozy kickoff.
You'll enjoy:
• True Granny Camp 101 classes
• Early fall-inspired projects
• Vintage Halloween sprinkled throughout the evening
• Pumpkins, black cats, old books, dried florals, velvet ribbons, and all the cozy details we can't resist
• Cocktails, sangria, snacks, and delicious sweet treats
And then...
Bring a wrapped book.
Pick a mystery.
Trade.
Laugh.
Make a new friend.
It's one of the traditions our campers wait for every single month.
Saturday is for the women who start decorating for autumn before the leaves have even thought about changing.
The tables will be covered in projects inspired by harvest gatherings, vintage Halloween, old farmhouses, and everything wonderfully nostalgic.
Think:
Vintage pumpkins.
Moody florals.
Black cats.
Old storybooks.
Warm colors.
A little bit spooky.
A whole lot beautiful.
Then, when the crafting day winds down...
The shops stay open late.
Music drifts through downtown.
Friends gather on the sidewalks.
And the whole square becomes part of the Granny Camp experience.
And of course...
Big personalities.
Questionable strategy.
Someone yelling "BINGO!" with absolute confidence.
It's loud.
It's ridiculous.
It's completely legendary.
You'll also have the opportunity to visit some of our favorite camp friends.
IV Society will be back helping campers recharge and refresh.
Shea with Fine Line Tattoos will be offering her signature tiny works of art for anyone wanting to take home a memory that lasts a little longer.
Sunday is for slowing down.
One more craft.
One more snack.
One more sangria.
One more walk around the room to admire what everyone made.
Finish your projects.
Start another one.
Pretend Monday doesn't exist.
It's a girls day of crafting and snacking like we don't have anywhere to be.
And that's exactly how we like it.
Your Three Day Pass includes:
• All supplies for every class you take each day
• Three days of creative workshops and 101 experiences
• Snacks all weekend long
• Sangria, cocktails, cold drinks, and delicious sweet treats
• The Legendary Blind Date with a Book Exchange
• Downtown Huntsville Sip & Shop
• Bingo Showdown
• Access to IV Society and Shea with Fine Line Tattoos
• Three days surrounded by women who believe pumpkins are a personality trait
No supply lists.
No running to the craft store.
No stress.
We have enough craft inventory to make a Michaels manager nervous.
We believe the magic happens around smaller tables.
That's why we limit each day to no more than 40 campers. It gives everyone room to create, laugh, make friends, and actually enjoy the experience without feeling crowded.
Because we keep camp intentionally small, class sizes are limited and workshops can fill quickly.
It's one of the things that makes Granny Camp feel less like an event...
and more like coming home.
• Class lineup announced one week before registration
• Registration information emailed two weeks before camp
• Classes may change due to hot glue emergencies, embellishment shortages, or unexpected glitter situations
• Tickets are final and non-refundable
• This is a 21+ event
• Muumuus are highly encouraged
August Granny Camp is for the women who buy the pumpkin candle before Labor Day.
Who think vintage Halloween is a year-round decorating style.
Who know that a handmade wreath, an old quilt, and a room full of creative friends can fix just about anything.
Fall is coming.
The pumpkins are waiting.
And your seat at the craft table is too.
