with Lauren of Maker Bees
Friday, May 15 | 6–9 PM
📍 1219 Sam Houston Ave | Huntsville, TX
$75 | Limited to 15 spots
Step into a cozy Friday night of crafting and learn the beautiful art of ribbon embroidery with Lauren of Maker Bees.
In this workshop, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind succulent design on a natural burlap tote using soft ribbon and simple hand embroidery techniques. Ribbon embroidery gives dimension, texture, and movement to your work — turning a simple stitch into something that looks almost like tiny fabric florals blooming right off the canvas.
Lauren will guide you step-by-step through the techniques, from threading and stitching to building the layered succulent shapes. She’ll also walk you through color combinations and ribbon variations, helping you design a tote that feels uniquely yours.
By the end of the evening, you’ll leave with a hand-embroidered summer tote that’s perfect for farmers markets, craft nights, beach days, or simply carrying your everyday essentials with a little extra handmade charm.
And because it’s Granny Camp…
snacks and beverages will be flowing while we craft.
Bring a friend or come solo — these nights have a way of turning strangers into tablemates and tablemates into friends.
Spots are limited to 15 to keep the class cozy and hands-on.
Grab your seat and get ready for a relaxed, creative Friday night that will leave you with a new skill and a tote you’ll reach for all summer long. 🍓
